I loved painting these. What a bright magenta POP of colour against a muted beauty background! And how the blooms fade from that intense pink to to blue! Ironically, I learned well after finishing my painting that they are NOT in fact our native species, but a naturalized one here from Europe. Hence, Bittersweet! Oh well, I still had fun painting it and I’m proud of it! I hope it will brighten up your space! .
Numbered, hand-signed prints will come with a certificate of authenticity. Only 25 will ever be made.
Canvas: Just like the original, these will be printed on 8 x 10 x 0.75” slim stretched canvas with a gloss finish. It will come with black edges and a wire on the back ready to hang.
